Shock News Cains-1At the beginning of May Cains stopped brewing beer at the Stanhope Street brewery and closed down their canning line and the production of beers for supermarkets. Please click here for the full story.

We launching a series of trips during the summer using a 33-seater bus.

These will be on Friday evenings and Saturdays. Friday tours will be to pubs in our branch area that you may not otherwise visit. The Saturday tours will go further around the region.

22nd May - Mild Crawl. 7.30pm meet at Thomas Rigby's. (The Official start time for this event is 7.30pm - although some of us will be meeting in the Lion from 6.30pm – all welcome.)

15th June – Coach trip to Black Country. Depart Ship and Mitre 10am

19th June – 8pm Brach Get Together – Old Bank, South Road, Waterloo (close to station). Includes Meet the Brewer event

23rd June – an 'Over the Water' Pub Promenade to New Brighton. 12 noon ferry from Pier Head to Seacombe.

29th June – Local bus trip. Depart outside Ship and Mitre 7pm (return there before 11pm). £5 per seat.

A Mild launch event will be held at the Richmond Pub & Hotel, Liverpool City Centre on 2nd May, starting at 7:30pm.
 
Join us for a free pint of mild.
 
Throughout May the Richmond will be selling 5 different Milds including a speciality pale and a golden mild made especially for them.
