Kind is the Branches' Chosen charity.
'KIND is a children’s charity that believes in the importance of investing in the future-our children. Every year, we work with thousands of children, young people and families across Liverpool and greater Merseyside, developing new and imaginative ways to help them cope with many forms of disadvantage.' At the Liverpool Beer Festival donations are collected, which includes giving punters the opportunity to donate any left over beer vouchers, which we convert to a cash donation. From the 2012 Beer Festival £915 was donated to KIND. Thank you to everyone who donated their unused beer vouchers. Below is a extract from the thank you letter we received from Stephen Yip of KIND.
The branch also holds its annual awards evening in the wonderful grounds of the Kind Centre in Liverpool.
