Over the weekend we received the devastating news that our committee member Tony Williams had passed away suddenly. Our thoughts at this very sad time are with his brother Robert. Tony was a great campaigner for the branch and a good friend to everyone on the committee. He will be sadly missed by all.
Tony's funeral will be at Springwood Crematorium,in Rosemary chapel, at 2:30 on Thursday 16th March. Afterwards there will be food & drinks at the Masonic pub in Garston.
Liverpool branch will be competing with St Helens in this year’s Inter CAMRA branch bowling match on 23rd July starting at 1pm at the Brown Edge in St Helens.
Afterwards we will be moving on to the CAMRA Merseyside Pub of the Year, the Cricketers, who are hosting a beer festival that weekend.
As part of the review of MerseyAle an online consultation has been set up.
The review will look at content, costs, and style of the publication, and how it links to other aspects of campaigning and communication undertaken by the branch and its members.
The Survey will close 27th June.
Results will be published beginning of July.
Consultation is open to everyone.
