On Wednesday 27th October the Chancellor will deliver his latest Budget, laying out plans for any changes in taxation, and potentially also announcing the initial outcome the Alcohol Duty Review. Ahead of this, CAMRA are asking you to contact your MP to ask them to lobby on behalf of pubs, clubs, brewers, and cider makers.

CAMRA has four key asks for the Chancellor:
• A new lower rate of duty for draught beer.
• Fairer business rates for pubs (England only).
• Positive reform of Small Brewers Relief.
• Introduction of a progressive duty scheme for cider.
A link to an e-lobby tool is available here: https://camra.e-activist.com/page/91459/action/1
Anyone can take part, not just CAMRA members, so let your friends and family know about it. The e-lobby tool will match your address to your constituency MP if you are not sure who they are. CAMRA are hopeful that there will be positive action from the Chancellor at this Budget.
