We'd like to hear from people who would be interested in joining our committee. We are in particular looking for someone to be our Young Persons' Officer and liaise with students and other young people in the city. We are also keen to have people who would like to be active campaigners in the continuing fight against pub closures.
Our committee meets once a month on the first Wednesday of each month and it is important you would be able regularly to attend these meetings and also our Branch Get Togethers which are the 'public face' of the committee held on the third Wednesday of each month. A good deal of our work takes place outside these meetings through face to face discussion and electronic communication.
