THE QUEENS ARMS, HUYTON, Planning Application 21/00062/FUL
I just wanted to draw your attention to a planning application for change of use, that has been registered with Knowsley Planning department. The planning application relates to a public house. with proposals to convert the existing first floor licensee accommodation into residential flats, which will have a detrimental effect on the viability of the pub. In addition the existing ground floor pub area is to be re-vamped into a bar/bistro.
The Queens Arms is located within a Conservation Area and is, in fact listed by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) as a Pub with an Historic Pub Interior.
